Some initiatives are global like Jumio Go For Good (which provided free use of Jumio’s products to healthcare organizations fighting Covid) and the Money for Minutes fundraising during Pride but we also encourage each office or region to identify causes that are important to them. For our larger initiatives we align our activities with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) - our DE&I efforts align with SDG #10 (reducing inequality) and our award winning CSR work in India aligns with SDG #2 (Zero Hunger), SDG #3 (Good Health and Wellbeing) and #5 (Gender Equality). Since 2020 we’ve also planted almost 6,000 trees through our referral program.

DISCo is a global group of employees focused on increasing DE&I across all regions and functions at Jumio. We place priority on raising awareness through educational and inspirational content and communication, being able to measure and report on progress and creating a ‘safe haven’ for discussion of issues and concerns. We identify, prioritize and implement initiatives that make a positive difference, delivering tangible outcomes that measurably improve our DE&I maturity including reducing inequalities for race, gender, LGBTQ+ status and nationality.

This partnership is one of the initiatives from our DE&I working group, DISCo, (Diversity and Inclusion Support Committee) which is a global group of employees that gets together twice a month to prioritize and implement improvements.
Every November, Jumio runs a DE&I innovation challenge ("Innovember") with Jumio teams around the world competing to pitch ideas aimed at promoting diversity, inclusion and equality. This aligns with the UN's Sustainable Development Goal number 10, which acts as a compass setting for all of Jumio’s DE&I initiatives.
