Daniel Mattes (CEO and Founder)
Daniel co-founded Jajah, a VoIP service provider and served as its CEO from its incorporation until summer 2007, following as its Executive Chairman until 2009. Daniel played a prominent role in helping Jajah raise $35 million in venture funding from Sequoia Capital, Intel Capital, Deutsche Telekom AG, Telus AG and Globespan Capital Partners. Jajah focuses on a white-label services for operators and other providers. Jajah took over the operations of Yahoo’s, Microsoft’s, AOL’s and ICQ’s VOIP services and also offered its service to the enterprise market. After reaching 25 million direct and 250 million indirect clients worldwide, Jajah was acquired in late 2009 by Telefonica (NYSE:TEF) for $207 million in an all cash deal.

Eduardo Saverin
Eduardo Saverin is a co-founder of Facebook. Eduardo managed the business development and sales aspects during Facebook‘s early years. Eduardo graduated magna cum laude from Harvard College with a degree in Economics.

Scott Weiss
In 2011, Scott Weiss joined VC firm Andreessen Horowitz as a general partner. He started his career as Hotmail’s 13. recruit in 1996, before it was sold to Microsoft the year after. From that point on, Scott had found his calling and was totally hooked on the Silicon Valley startup life! In 2000, he briefly joined Idealab as a managing director, before co-founding enterprise security company IronPort in 2001. When he sold IronPort to Cisco in 2007, he was promoted to GM, Security and took over most of Cisco’s security business including the ASA/PIX firewalls, IPS/IDS, SIEM and the IronPort product lines.

Chad Starkey (CFO and General Counsel)
Chad began his business career in Silicon Valley at Oracle Corporation. After working for different startups including Advanced Micro-Fabrication Equipment Company (Shanghai, China) and Talenthouse, Inc. (Mt. View, California), he joined Jumio to provide complete Finance, HR and Legal solutions. He graduated from the University of Michigan and Pepperdine School of Law.

Thomas Kastenhofer (COO)
Prior to Jumio, Thomas was involved in the early stages of Jajah in 2005 in an operational position. Following Jajah, Thomas was head of marketing and communication at compugroup, a European stock-listed IT player. Thomas graduated from the New York Film Academy in New York City.

Zain Khan
Zain Khan is founder of OZ Ventures. Prior to that he was a Google executive. He is known as the “Ops guy” and built Googles impressive infrastructure 1999 from the scratch.

Mark Britto
Mark Britto is the Founder and CEO of Boku a leading international mobile payments platform for digital and virtual goods. Prior to Boku Mark was the CEO of Ingenio, a pay for performance advertising network that AT&T acquired in 2007. Previously he held executive positions at Amazon.com, FirstUSA Bank and Bank of America.

Maarten Linthorst
Maarten Linthorst, CEO of CSI Communication Systems Inc. AG (CSI AG), interconnected the first two servers for NASA (1969), creating the Internet as we know it. Later on he developed for IBM the X25 protocol which is used for every credit card transaction worldwide.

Björn Evers
Björn Evers is an Internet entrepreneur and investor from Sweden.
Björn has been a CEO in the gambling industry since 2004 and has an extensive network in the gambling industry, on both the founder and CxO level. His last position was as the CEO of one of the largest online gambling groups in the world, including the flagship site pokerlistings.com from 2008 to 2010. PokerListings is well known to have pioneered the lead generation industry. Björn is a sought after speaker at the online gambling conferences, with CEO experience in the software, operator and publicist/affiliate side of the industry.

Thomas Jungreithmeir
Thomas Jungreithmeir is Senior Partner of TJP, a dedicated company of advisory & management services in Europe. Thomas is also CEO of CEE Immobilien Development AG, a company which is currently transformed into a renewable energy business company.
TJP was launched with several experienced partners only in fall 2010 and now works in USA, Austria, Germany, Hungary, Ukraine, Czechia, Croatia, Norway, Romania and Slovenia. Prior to that starting in the 90`ties Thomas worked at KPMG and got extensive eperience in the Corporate Finance Business including M&A and IPO work and since 2002 headed the restructuring practice of KPMG in Austria and leads a team of restructuring experts.
